My friend in D.C. said late last year we were about 2 years behind Turkey in terms of how Erdogan seized power of the government (appointed judges that would side with him, corrupted the government from the inside), and when talking with people-- i keep telling them the arrogance that we think what happens with Fascist regime takeovers in other countries won't happen here because we're the U.S. is EXACTLY the type of thinking that WILL ALLOW IT TO HAPPEN!!!
